E.R.

Nothing super exciting has happened in the last few weeks since my last post except a lovely trip to the ER with Parker. Parker woke up from his nap and was having a hard time breathing, he was still running and playing but his chest was heaving hard. By the time all the doctors offices are closed (of course) with the help of visiting teachers, who are nurses, we decided to take him in. Has anyone ever waited in the waiting room of the ER before, talk about interesting people. A very young man and his wife were there with their daughter, who looked to be about Parker's size. When the wife stepped out for a smoke the guy got a phone call. I wasn't trying to eavesdrop but couldn't help it when he said, "ya our daughter is that way because of my wife, she used to be such a good mother before I went to jail." Crazy, and then his daughter, with a huge rash all over her face tried to kiss Parker. I was soooo ready to leave but thankfully they called us back. Long story short, Parker was given albuteral and steroids and sent home. The next day our regular pediatrician was shocked that they sent Parker home and gave us our own nebulizer to treat Parker. He only needed treatments for a few days and is 100% back to his crazy toddler ways.
