Our little Parker is a handful at best. He is however really good at going to bed, he will just sit and play in his bed if he isn't quite ready to sleep and after he wakes up he rarely calls for me to get him. He is very content to sit and play in his crib (soooo don't want to jinx it and move him to a big boy bed). Some days he plays with a car in his bed, some days he tears apart books (now he is only allowed cloth baby books), more recently he has moved to ripping apart the mini blinds by his bed until now the lower foot of the blinds are completely missing.
Two nights ago on my way to bed I could hear Parker playing with something, I figured his dad gave him a car and I went on to bed. Then I realized that didn't really sound familiar and I better check on him. The first thing I noticed was the lampshade to Logan's reading lamp on Parker's lap, how in the world he reached that I don't know and Logan was sound asleep so he is off the hook. Parker then hands me the bottom of the unscrewed and broken light bulb and says, "light, mom". Parker was surrounded by broken glass and didn't have a scratch on his body!!
I guess I better move his crib to the center of the room just to be safe!
